Introduction and Overview
Part 3 covers the parts of the build environment that are important for some projects but not required for every session. These chapters describe optional toolchains and runtime layers whose filenames, commands, or workflows differ from the default 32-bit native-build path.
If you are learning the environment for the first time, you can read Part 3 after the core workflow guides. If you already know which optional subsystem you need, use the chapter summaries below to jump directly to it.
Chapters
64-bit development
Use 64-bit development when you need the separate riscos64-* tool family, the host-style filename conventions used by that toolchain, or the basic compile and link workflows for 64-bit programs.
Pyromaniac and runtime execution
Use Pyromaniac and runtime execution when the image includes the local runtime and you need to choose between riscos-run, riscos-basic, riscos-gos, or the lower-level Pyromaniac control commands.
AI agent workflows
Use AI agent workflows for the supported agent wrappers, the shared skill layout, the generic ai management command, and the environment-specific behaviour of the bundled agent tooling.
